A Gathering of Gnomes

This month's ACT group theme was gnomes and, while I have a few peeking out from behind plants in our garden, I lacked a single gnome image to help me with this theme. I put the call out to a group of wonderful women, The Gingersnaps, and they came through with sites and links and even stamped images from their own stash. I decided on this one of all I was sent (and MANY MANY thanks to all who came to my rescue). I backed the ATCS with a lovely light blue crepe paper by Melissa Frances for Vintage Attic. I cut the flowers from a ribbon and painted them with Prang Metallic Brush Pens and Tombow duel brushes. I printed the images out on canvas and painted them with Lyra Aquacolor crayons. Stickles for the beards and a touch of ribbon to form a "fence" for the grass and done! I used Helmar's Liquid Glue Dots to pop the gnomes . and their fabric glue for the ribbons and flowers.

This go out in the mail today and hope the girls in the ATC swap like them.

I am glad you entered the Cheerful Stamp Pad, but the pic I see on my site is your blog header. Can you change the pic to the one you are submitting for the "man" challenge?

I am a little confused.

I'm sure all your fellow-swappers will love these! They are fantastic and so whimsical. I had to chuckle reading about our Statue of Liberty connection, because when I clicked to your blog I saw that gorgeous Acey Deucey lady you unearthed, and we had a 2nd connection. Love that stamp!
