This Love album was not only one of my favorite kits to design but was one that sold out the fastest. I recently came across some papers that I am hoping to use to 'reinvent' this for a special project that would be available for either a class or for purchase as a kit.
I had two lovely surprises when I was checking e-mails this morning. My friend, Roz, awarded me the Wylde Woman Award (and I will post the image and links soon). Many thanks Smoochie Girl!
The second surprise was to get an e-mail from Nikki at Gyspy Rose Paperie telling me I had made it to the final fifteen designers (out of 100) for the Guest Designer slot for the company. Any purveyor of goodies in antique stores, collector of ephemera and sucker for lace aged by time, wooden buttons, old magazines and all sorts of other lovelies, this site is a delight to view. (www.gypsyrosepaperie.com/) and there are weekly kit giveaways on the blog. Check it out.
And many thanks to Nikki and the Team at Gypsy Rose Paperie for selecting me as one of the top fifteen. The final selection will be made on Aug. 30 and make it or not (and, of course, I'd love to make the final cut), getting this far is quite an honor.
Have a great day!
