I've been crazy busy lately with the Grands, some projects for CI, Posh and Gecko Galz and an upcoming private crop class... so catching up, hopefully.

These are some of the projects I have created for Creative Imaginations since I was invited to join the team...and I am so in love with the products and the opportunities to use them

Gecko Galz and LuminArte

I made these two Peek a Boo cards using the Gecko Galz Card Toppers collection on sale now and LuminArte products from Creative Imaginations.

Gecko Galz Aug releases contain a collection of some of the most lovely card toppers I've seen in a long time.  I used these two to form the basis of my Peek a Boo cards.

Next I used LuminArte Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist in Sea foam (#29527), LuminArte pigments in  Olive Vine, and Twinkling H20s in Raspberry Wine to accent the tree and flowers in this card.

And I used Twinkling H20s gold for the twining vines in this one and a mix of Ginger Peach, Green Tea and Ice Blue Twinkling H20s to give color to the dragon flies vellum wings.

Gecko Galz and LuminArte ...what a great combination!

Cropping at Posh Scraps

Last Wed. Jacque, Baby D and I met at Posh to scrap.  Our Cynthia was out with a bug of some kind and Di still has her Grands to watch til school starts.  The "Women who do Lunch" bunch was smaller last Wed. but we managed to struggle through...lol.  I completed two full layouts and parts of two others.  I have been trying to use up some of my stash and doing this layout helped.

Michele has some lovely cards in the store and I decided to use one on a layout along with the envelop to create a multi photo opportunity.  I did not have the other pics I wanted with me so will add these when I print them later this week.
The photo and the cover of the card flip up, the envelop opens and I placed a good sized tag inside.

I love the fact that the card serves as the title and I can do hidden journaling in a variety of places.

I have work to publish here from Creative Imaginations and Gecko Galz so watch this spot.  And, as always, thanks for reading my blog.

Canvas Corp burlap book and play time!

So, instead of finishing the laundry, instead of printing off things for my class next Sat, instead of unpacking the rest of things from the beach....I played.  Got some good advise from some wonderful women and they were right.  Laundry will get done, kits will get loaded and things will get unpacked.  What I needed was some creative therapy

I bought this book at Scrapbooks Etc. in Bonita Springs, Fl and had been wanting to start a mini album with it.  This is just the cover but I did take some notes on ideas while we were at the beach.  It may be a while before I get more done as, alas, laundry awaits, kits need to be loaded, I have some projects to complete for Gecko Galz and yes! unpack.

UPDATE:  I put the tie through the other way and tied it on the opening side...much easier!

As always, thanks for looking.

Back in our little slice of Paradise

I've been going through creating withdrawal the past two weeks but managed to off set it with long, lovely walks on the beach and some retail therapy.  I did keep a notebook of inspirations and hopefully later today when the masses of beach towels and sandy clothes are done, I'll be able to play a bit. .

The Crazy about Canvas class is this Sat. and loading kits is also on my agenda for this week.  Last I checked there were still two openings in the class so you can call Posh Scraps at 727-784-2928 for details.

No visit to Ft. Myers is complete without visiting Owl and the Pussycat Stamp Art Store on HW41 in S. Ft. Myers and Scrapbooks Etc. in Bonita Springs...wealth of inspiration at both stores.  Thanks Regina, Janet and Colleen.
