Kindred Spirits Post Card Exchange

I am in a post card exchange with several other women who are rediscovering the Lost Art of Writing. Each month, we create on post card to send to the person whose name is on the list for that month. Some have themed months and others do not. Our first month, July, goes to Judy C in Ga. We are an international group, but Jeanie lives "just up the street" from me so to speak, in the next state. Hope she likes it.

Gingersnap Creations: Sewless Envelope Tutorial

I use to sew a lot when my kids were young but, over time, my interest shifted to other creative outlets. I still have retained my love of fabrics though and find new uses for them as often as I can. I am covering an album for our little grandsons with some lovely plaid and stripes I found and then I created this reusable envelop with absolutely no stitching whatsoever. Thank you June Tailor for creating the products that make this so easy.

This workshop, number 5 in the 8 part series, is entitled " To Dye For". We'll be using color dyes such as Glimmer Mists to hand dye (not mist)two types of canvas, Grunge board, paper tags, ribbons, tulle, cheese cloths, silk and linen fabrics.
