Gecko Galz Project II
The photo transfer of the Monday's Child collage set at Gecko Galz was done with InkAid's Iridescent Pearl Gloss Precoat. The tag is done with Twinkling H20s by LuminArte , the new Creative Imaginations' Oceana 6x6 stencil and modeling paste.

Gecko Galz project #1
The crowing glory though is the digital stamp from Gecko Galz from the mermaid series. I printed her out onto vellum so she would show on both sides of the bottle. To make her tail glimmer and glow, I painted her with LuminArt's Twinkling H20s. Her hair and skin were colored with a soft color pencil.

Sneak Peek at Aug 4th. Crazy about Canvas Class
We'll be dying, gluing, glaming, ironing, cutting and stiffening at Posh Scraps on Aug 4. This class will be limited to 8 people and will not be repeated so mark your calendars now. It is all day and you will leave with a pillow sham, a tote and an envelope all out of canvas.
I'll post times and supplies and contact no. for Posh Scraps after July 1 and the full Monty of the projects.
I am so ashamed to be such a tease...ya right! lol.

I started my bike ride in a slight drizzle this morning but it held off until I had abandoned this piece above at the Cultural Museum in Craig Park on Spring Bayou.
I rode by the ATM where I left a piece a couple of days ago and it was gone but the one I left at the old Train depot had fallen on the side walk. I repositioned it more securely and rode on. Four out of the six pieces have been 'found' to date. One more day, weather permitting, and I'll have done a full week of living an abandoned life.
If you have found any of my abandoned art, please drop me a note (if you wish) at eeickmeier@hotmail.com or post on the Art Abandoned facebook page.

Art Abandoned Day Five
I biked this morning instead of walking and took this piece that I made at Owl and the Pussycat in Ft. Myers, Fl several years ago. I rode down to the Sponge Docks and the piece at the ATM is still there. Tarpon Springs is hosting a New Orleans Festival tomorrow complete with Second Line Parade and more tourists than usual will be milling around town. Perhaps someone will pick it up. If not, I'll move it.
I left the one above in our historic downtown at the old train depot. It is now a museum and catty corner to our favorite breakfast place, Toula's on the Trial.
I rode home through the park on the Trail and my necklace piece was gone. Of the five I have left so far, three of them have been "found".
I am going to do two more days and then will leave things randomly when the urge to abandon strikes me.
This living with abandonment is addictive. Give it a shot and find out. You can find the Art Abandonment group right here on Face Book. Come join us!

Art Abandonment Day Four
This is the piece I "abandoned" this morning on my walk. I had the best of intentions of heading to Spring Bayou and leaving it there but I got away too late. I had a class to teach at ten am so left the piece at a local watering hole on the Anclote River. Tiki bars abound here in Paradise and this is a fun one with music on the weekends and very cold beer, or so I've heard (cough cough).
Tomorrow, my destination is either Spring Bayou or drive out and walk the causeway to the beach at Howard's Park. I'd like to make it a full week of abandonment and then just whenever the mood strikes me. This is so much fun!
Now, don't be shy...go forth and abandon!

Lovin' Me some Creative Imaginations
Thanks Cheryl Mezzetti and Creative Imaginations for making me feel like a rock star for the day. I had such a great time designing the canvas projects with LuminArte and Canvas Corp. You made everything so much fun and I want to thank you for your patience and delightful sense of humor.
So, here is it! My Guest spot at CI...tada! CRAZY ABOUT CANVAS
And for the gals at Posh Scraps, if you like these projects, let's throw in one more thing...a tote. You'll have to wait til July 1 for that but the class is already on the books for Aug 4.
