First. I had a blast with the dress form pieces from Basically Bare that I had left after I made a friend a pop out card of Congrats. This is what I did. Using the forms as templates and masks along with Art Anthology's Coloration spray in Silk Tie, I created several pieces that I can use later on layouts, cards and other art projects.
I love how easy it was to change the density of the color and create water color effects with the spray and a paper towel.
And here is the card...

Cropping with the Women Who Do Lunch bunch
Today we headed to Scraps of Art in Largo and, while the rest of the gang (about 11 of us) worked on their journals, I created 3 layouts of our darling Leighton and two fun cards. I so seldom make cards, it was kind of fun!
I am not happy with the ribbon on this layout so will probably be redoing that part of it when I get some time.
Scrapping my Grands comes easy as I have 3 amazing subjects with which to work!
Long ago, ColorBox use to make some, what I call Peek A Boo cards with cut outs and top layers and I LOVED them. Regina, owner of the Owl and the Pussycat Stamp Art store in Ft. Myers Fl, got me addicted . Today, I found another company who has taken over this but, for the life of me, I can not remember the name. If you know, please leave me a message here.
With the layers and one acrylic overlay from Kaiser Craft, I made these two fun cards.
Sorry for the reflection in the acrylic overlay. I made the square larger than the 'window' so I can slip a message under the acrylic and onto the orange cardstock.
Thanks for looking...and wait til you see what I am working on for Basically Bare for my next reveal...ooh la la!

Gecko Galz April project: Quick and Fun Mother's Day Card
Often we don't have the time to create elaborate cards for friends and family. That is the joy of the images you purchase from Gecko Galz. You can use these to create lovely, elaborate cards when you have the time or quick and easy ones when you don't. This 50s retro style Mother's Day card, done for my daughter, took about 15 minutes start to finish and I think she will love it.
For complete directions on how to make the card, click HERE. And wait til you see all the amazing images you get when your purchase a packet HERE.
