Twine Challenge at Gingersnap Creations

This challenge was so much fun. I tore some strips of canvas, layered them over a gesso coated and painted 5x7 piece of canvas. I stamped the strips, misted, inked the whole thing and wove the pieces with twine. The flower was such a blast to create as well.

THE POST CARD EXCHANGE IS FILLED. I'LL BE IN TOUCH WITH THE ELEVEN WHO HAVE SIGNED UP AS SOON AS I HEAR BACK FROM EVERYONE ON THEIR ADDRESSES, MONTH AND THEME PREFERENCES, IF ANY.

You made this flower?!!!
You could make a small fortune selling those.
The colours work so beautifully with the colour of the twine.

Oh-YOU are the one who created this! I saw it yesterday and I really love it! I love the colors, and the design and what you did with the twine. I'm rather bummed out because I used twine extensively on my Cowboys Challenge Card!

Hi Jules... what a great piece... just love your flower. How very very creative !!!! Where do you get your pieces of canvas??? I went to Joannes crafts but no luck. I do use Sticky Back canvas, but sometimes I don't want the sticky.. Hope you can help me out. Awesome Job !!!!
